45 years of advances
Doing one thing and doing it well--powerful attachment tools--that's the Paladin story. Little did we realize in 1964 (then known as Bradco and producing attachments for gas distribution) that our focus on attachments would allow us to better meet the needs of a rapidly growing and changing market.

Eight years after our start, greatly expanding the products we offered and gaining recognition for quality, we changed our name to American Trencher, Inc.  In 1996, reflecting the broad product line, we changed our name to ATI Global.  In 1998 we enhanced our capabilities by purchasing The Major.

The benefits of many attachment companies working together became evident. This began a series of strategic purchases over four years, including McMillen, C&P Enterprises and Pengo and in 1999 the acronym ATI was changed to mean Attachment Technologies, Inc.  

In 2004, we renamed our company Paladin (strong supporter of a cause, a hero) to reflect our powerful combination of brands and our focus on outstanding customer service.  Our vision was to bring together the best independent attachment manufacturers in the world and provide support to our customers as one unified team.   We continued to grow with the acquisitions of Sweepster, FFC, Jewell and Harley. 

We are now five specialized businesses, each with a sharp focus on our areas of expertise.  Collectively, we are able to provide more innovation, higher quality and better service and support than any of us could alone.  In 2006, we were acquired by Dover Corporation (DOV-NYSE), one of America's leading diversified manufacturing businesses.  Dover is a company that fits well with our way of thinking – to be the best in the markets that we serve.

We've never stood still and never will. Our brands represent a long history of product innovation, customer service, and industry know-how. As we move into the future, our #1 goal continues to be the same:  provide our customers with great products and unsurpassed customer service.  Everyone at Paladin is committed to bringing that goal to life, every day.
